Artist Biography – Will Harris
In my work, I explore images from personal experiences that are transmitted to me via sight, and even sound. My watercolors reflect my efforts to capture the essence and ambiance of a beautiful and/or interesting time and place through colors, shapes, textures, and geometric perspectives.
Working as a Registered Architect for 35 years, I have honed a set of skills that give me insight into detail and perspective views. For me, perfecting a color involves mixing paint with a solid respect for the relationship of complementary pigments.
Noted for taking my time with a painting, it can sometimes take up to four months to complete a particular project. The details cannot be put aside or ignored.
